Unknowns

Unknown #10

I'm thinking possibly a Song Sparrow or a Juvenile Chipping Sparrow... any thoughts?

Unknown # 11

Carolina Wren, possibly?

If you can help me positively identify any of these (or the others - see link in sidebar), I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

Gray Catbird

Gray Catbird
Spotted 4/23/12 in the woods by the house.

Chimney Swift

Not the greatest shots, but you can tell they're Chimney Swifts by the fact that they look like "cigars with wings," as my field guide says... Also, the tail is stumpy and flat on the end, as opposed to forked like most swallows.

Spotted 4/23/12 in the back field.

American Goldfinch

Well, the American Goldfinch that eluded my camera the other day was back today, and I got him! Spotted 4/23/12 on the feeder by the woods.

Wild Turkey

Wild Turkey: spotted 4/22/12 at J & K's house. (Sorry for the poor quality of these photos - I only had my iphone with me when I saw him!)

I tried to get closer to get a better shot, but he got spooked and flew off...

Help Solve a Bird Mystery!

The following are birds who didn't cooperate too well for their photo shoots. Being a novice birder, I haven't been able to identify them due to the poor quality of the photos. However, if you are a pro and can help me identify any of these species, I would certainly appreciate it! I'll give them each a number in case you can help me out - just leave the answer in the comment section. Thank you!

In the shot above you can finally see the red patch on the top of the wing...
